Step Clohe teachers Logbook
1 8 November 2012 - Teachers Workshop and project presentation by Clohe teachers (Guido Accascina and Luca De Pascalis)
9,00-14.30 Teachers workshop": teachers, psychologists, educators, artists and other stakeholders.
- Participants:10 stakeholders.
- Setting: groups of 2 stakeholders in one table. Materials on the table. Short introduction to Clohe project.
- Actions: Inductive learning method: Clohe teachers show 2 automata with hidden mechanism. Clohe teachers show an automata whose mechanism is hidden. We ask everyone to guess the mechanism, drawing the various hypotheses on the logbook. We give everyone the materials to test their hypotheses. Everyone designs and builds his automata. If they have an absolute need, everyone can see examples of automata already made.
- Comments: good job, new shapes, great fun. The main point is that the school teachers are now "inside" the project, and feel part of our group. The inductive method produces a positive tension that becomes invention and competition in the best sense of the term.
